Public Swimming 101

Designed for youth and young adults who have disabilities, this three-session program will walk you through important things you need to know to attend public swimming sessions on your own!

Topics covered include: Paying for your session/using your membership card, Changing room etiquette and routines, Pool rules and Free time in the pool.

This is not a swimming lesson and all participants must be able to swim in the deep end unassisted, be independent in the changing room, and work well in a ratio of 1:3. A swim test may be requested / required

When: Saturdays, December 1st, 8th, 15th
Time: 1:30-3:30pm Where: Harry Jerome Community Recreation Centre (meet in the lobby)
Cost: $10.00, plus public swim admission & locker fees
