COVID-19 has impacted all of us. Here at the NSDRC, we continue to adapt our response and continuously re-evaluate programs and delivery of services recognizing that we are all facing on a new normal. The health and well-being of our clients, staff and community remains our top priority and our ever-evolving program structure will reflect this. We are so appreciative of our participants, families and staff and their ability to pivot and reimagine programs during this unprecedented time.

We continue to take direction from the BC Provincial Health Office. We are busy ensuring that our programs are aligned with WorksafeBC’s safety plans.

We will keep you updated and you can expect to continue to hear from your program managers directly with respect to specific services. We are grateful to all of you for your continued support.

The NSDRC was started by a group of families in 1976. In the years since, we have worked for a "Community for All" by developing and providing community housing, infant development programs, youth groups, community-based services, and information and advocacy.

We are grateful for the opportunity to work, live and play on the unceded territory of the Coast Salish Peoples, including the territories of Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh Nations.
