The North Shore Disability Resource Centre (NSDRC) provides programs and services based on the belief that all people are important to their community.

We work to ensure that people with disabilities, along with their families and friends, can participate actively as members of the community. We are committed to working toward a community which is free of physical, financial and attitudinal barriers.

Lynn Valley Days Parade

Measuring Up Tool Survey

Lynn Valley Days was well attended and organized by many of the people we support, staff, and volunteers this year. Even the sunshine cooperated!

On behalf of the Board of Directors and both Executive Directors, a huge THANK YOU goes out to everyone for their part. When many people share responsibilities, events are awesome and fun at the same time!

The NSDRC received a Measuring Up Tool grant from 2010 Legacies Now.

With this grant the NSDRC plans to improve the accessibility and inclusiveness of North Vancouver District and City. We will also endeavour to improve employment opportunities for people with disabilities.

NSDRC Fundraiser

The NSDRC Foundation is fundraising for the North Shore Disability Resource Centre on October 25^th 2008 at Centennial Theatre in North Vancouver with the Universal Gospel Choir and Sibel Thrasher who will be performing for us!

Please don’t miss this fabulous event and a chance to support people with disabilities and various programs and services that NSDRC has to offer.
